Bubble Fest returns this year to the Hays County Courthouse Lawn, 111 E San Antonio St., on Saturday, Aug. 11 from 9:30-12:30 p.m. Hosted by the San Marcos Main Street Program, this free event will take place alongside Art Squared and the Farmer’s Market.
Bubble Fest will include games and activities for children of all ages such as a ball pit, photo booth, bubble dance floor, bubble wands and bubble blasters. The family-friendly event is a part of Main Street’s efforts to make Downtown San Marcos an inclusive destination for all ages.
“Downtown is for everyone,” said Main Street Program Manager Samantha Armbruster. “From a ball pit and bubble dance floor, to Art Squared and the Farmer's Market, there is plenty of fun around Downtown for a morning celebration of all things bubbles!”
