The City of San Marcos and San Marcos Fire Department is moving forward on replacing and relocating Fire Station 2.
The current station #2 was built in the 1950s and is located at Academy Street. The new station will move to Wonder World Drive and Ranch Road 12 in the La Cima subdivision.

The official groundbreaking was held on Friday, January 17. San Marcos City Council members joined San Marcos Fire Department staff as they turned the dirt and kicked off the start of construction on the new home of San Marcos Fire Department Station #2!
