SMFD Flag Raising Ceremony & Flower Memorial

September 11, 2021, marks the 20th anniversary of 9/11/01. The San Marcos Fire Department maintains the yearly tradition of raising the flag that flew over City Hall on 9/11/01. We invite you to join us this year either in person or virtually! The event will take place outdoors and is open to the public. Streaming services will be offered due to the current COVID conditions. The event will begin streaming on the City of San Marcos Facebook live site at 8:40 a.m. The flower memorial will be up for the day until 4:30 p.m. for anyone that would like to stop by and add a flower.
