    Adult Pickleball is now offered from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays . Participants are no longer required to sign up to reserve a time slot to play. The Adult Pickleball program is open play for ages 18 and up. At this time, we have four courts available for Pickleball, two in each gym. The gyms are no longer designated as competitive or recreational, everyone plays with everyone. Participants must bring their own paddles and ball. All players must agree that they have read and understand the City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department Release and Waiver of Liability and will have to agree to the waiver when attending Pickleball at the Activity Center. The Adult Pickleball Open Play rules and guidelines are subject to change without notice.

    Discovery Camp is a nine-week program developed for children ages 5-10. The program is offered from Jun. 14 to Aug. 13, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Campers will have the chance to be outside, build things, work as a team, develop leadership skills and have fun! Children will participate in a variety of activities, including science experiments, arts and crafts, games, and more! Program enrollment is limited to 26 children per week.     Summer Fun is a 9-week long camp hosted by the City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department for kids ages 7-13 (they can be 6 if they have completed the first grade) at Hernandez Elementary. Camp runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Breakfast and lunch are provided by SMCISD and one field trip per week is included in camp.
