The San Marcos Activity Center Natatorium is open by appointment only. Swimmers and water walkers can sign up for a reservation here

Rio Vista Pool

Rio Vista Pool opening date is June 1st by reservation only. 

Open: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Closed: Mondays and Thursdays.

Reservations can be made by clicking Adult Swim or Open Swim below.

Family Nights

Family Nights are back! These are extended pool hours and they will be limited to 75 people in the pool. Each family can register up to five to attend. Reservations are required and can be made starting one week in advance here. The reservation is for 7-9 p.m. If you know that you will not attend, please cancel your reservation so that someone else can come in your place.

Level 1 Youth Swim Lessons

Youth Swim Lessons, Level 1 helps students feel comfortable in the water. Learn-to-Swim Level 1 participants receive a Raffy Learns to Swim full color booklet that reinforces learning and provides parents with additional information about their child’s progress.

Learning Objectives

Level 1 participants learn to:

  • Enter and exit water safely
  • Submerge mouth, nose and eyes
  • Exhale underwater through mouth and nose
  • Open eyes underwater
  • Pick up submerged object
  • Float on front and back
  • Explore arm and hand movements
  • Swim on front and back using arm and leg actions
  • Follow basic water safety rules
  • Use a life jacket
