The Planning and Development Services Department is hosting a Virtual Community Workshop on Wednesday, December 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. to seek input on updates to the downtown architectural design guidelines and standards.
The Workshop will be interactive and participants will learn and provide input on proposed recommendations for downtown design. Staff and consultants, Winter and Company, will be asking for your feedback on proposed recommended changes to the downtown standards and guidelines based on community input. To participate in the live event, attendees will need access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet.
If you do not have access to these devices or are unavailable on December 9, but would still like to participate, you can pick up a take-home Workshop Toolkit from the Planning Department beginning Monday, December 7. To pick up a toolkit, please email email@example.com or call 512.393.8230 and staff will schedule a safe pick-up time in the City Hall Municipal Complex parking lot.
December 10: Joint Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council Workshop
The City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission are holding a workshop to review proposed recommended changes to the downtown design standards and guidelines. The joint workshop will be held virtually on Thursday, December 10, beginning at 5 p.m. The meeting agenda will be found online at http://sanmarcostx.gov/AgendaCenter. The meeting will be televised live on Spectrum Ch. 10 and Grande Ch. 16 or 123-16 and video streamed online at http://sanmarcostx.gov/421/City-Council-Videos-Archives/.
