COVID-19 Building Inspections

Due to the impacts of COVID 19 the City of San Marcos is offering a temporary service to our citizens that will allow us to do video inspections for most work completed in occupied homes.

Please request your inspection as you normally would through www.mygovernmentonline.org, but in the notes please add the following information: Video inspection requested, Your name and phone #, requested time for inspection.

Typically, we do not schedule a specific time of day for inspections, but due to the limited nature of these inspections, we will try to accommodate the time you request between the hours of 8AM-5PM.

The City of San Marcos understands these are trying times, and we will do everything possible to provide safe and reliable service for our citizens.
