This project replaces a 16 Inch waterline crossing the Blanco River that was damaged and taken out of service as a result of the October 2015 floods.
The City has designed a replacement waterline which will be bored under the Blanco River at a depth to avoid damage from future flood events.
The City worked with FEMA to apply for grant funding since the original line was damaged from a natural disaster event.
Grant funding was awarded in September of 2019 at a 75% funding match (25% city match).
