Mission Statement

The Public Works Department is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the City's high quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors by providing well planned, environmentally sensitive, cost-effective transportation and drainage infrastructure.

Functions

The Public Works Division provides planning, direction and administrative support services for all divisions within the Public Works Department, including streets and drainage, vehicle maintenance, and inspections.

Right-of-Way Permit Instructions

All entities desiring to excavate any City pavement must first complete, submit and obtain an approved Right-Of-Way Permit, in addition to any other permitting required and submit applications to the Permit Center.
