  • Why is the City of San Marcos using “Twitter”?

Twitter will be used much like an e-mail blast subscription to update subscribers on News and Events happening in our city.  Twitter may also be used by the City when there is an emergency or large-impact road closure.

  • How do I follow the City of San Marcos on Twitter?

    Visit our Twitter site at www.twitter.com/cityofsanmarcos, and click the "Follow" button underneath the city seal. You can set your preferences to receive alerts via Twitter's website, SMS mesages to your cell phone (your phone carrier's charges apply), RSS feeds to your computer's internet browser, or e-mail.
