Aquatics
- Adult Swim Lessons –Focuses on non-swimming adults and adults that are interested in learning basic swimming skills. For example: front float, back float, front crawl, and back crawl.
- Lifeguarding –Lifeguard, CPR, FA, AED Training.
- Swim Lessons Parent & Tot - Designed for children 6 months to 5 years of age, the program builds swimming readiness by emphasizing fun in the water. Parents and children participate in 8 guided practice sessions that help children learn elemenary skills including: Water entry Bubble blowing Front kicking Back floating Under water exploration and more! Once Children can perform basic skills without parental assistance, they may begin level 1.
- Youth Swim Lessons - Level 1 - Helps students feel comfortable in the water. Learn-to-Swim Level 1 participants receive a Raffy Learns to Swim fullcolor booklet that reinforces learning and provides parents with additional information about their child's progress. Level 1 participants learn to:
Enter and exit water safely Submerge mouth, nose and eyes Exhale underwater through mouth and nose
Open eyes underwater, pick up submerged object Float on front and back Explore arm and hand movements
Swim on front and back using arm and leg actions Follow basic water safety rules Use a life jacket

Swim on front and back using combined strokes Tread water using arm and leg motions
Move in the water while wearing a life jacket
Baseball
- Youth Baseball– San Marcos Youth Baseball Softball Association offers baseball leagues to ages 14 & under.
Basketball
- Jr. NBA/WNBA Basketball League - Basic skills, teamwork, and following directions are taught by volunteer coaches. Fee includes an NBA/WNBA team t-shirt and a basketball. Boys and girls teams will be formed for ages 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 & 11-12.
Soccer
- Youth Soccer– San Marcos Area Youth Soccer is a Texas non-profit, tax exempt organization formed to promote, foster and advance the cause of soccer for youth at all levels of play within its territory. It shall be the mission of San Marcos Youth Soccer Association to educate, provide administrative service, promote, and stimulate interest in the game of soccer. With one purpose in mind: to ensure that each player has an enjoyable soccer experience while moving toward his or her personal goal.
Softball
- Adult Softball-Do you enjoy the thrill of competition and being a member on team? Enroll a team in our spring softball league. We offer Mens-A,B,C, and D; Womens Open; Co-Rec, and 35 & over leagues. The season will include 10 league games plus post-seson playoffs. Rosters due when you register.

Velcro T-Ball
- Youth Velcro T-Ball–Future Baseball/Softball Stars!!! Come and have fun in our introductory baseball/softball program. Participants will use velcro baseball mitts and balls and will learn to hit off of a tee. Each team will practice once per week, for one hour at either 5:30 or 6:30 on a day selected by the coach. This is a co-rec activity. For those registering online, your registration is not complete until waiver form and Parent's Pledge has been signed and delivered through the mail or in person. You should also provide a legal copy (not church or hospital certificate) of your child's birth certificate if not already on file. These forms should be delivered before the deadline to guarantee a roster spot. Parents can only register children online at full price; to receive sibling or family discount, you must register in person at Activity Center or P&R office. Click here for form
Volleyball
- Adult Volleyball–Bump-Set-Spike! Join our adult volleyball league - its great exercise in a fun and friendly environment. We offer two levels of Co-Rec play; Recreational league play on Mondays and Competitive league play on Wednesdays. Rosters due by first game.
