Classes

The San Marcos Public Library and Community Action, Inc. offer free classes for GED, basic skills, and English Language Learners (ELL). The Learning Center office hours are Monday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

If you want to know more about the GED examination and our free preparation classes, plan to attend one of these hour-long information sessions at the library.

Volunteer

Volunteers are often needed to assist students in the GED and English Language Learners classes. If you are interested and can make a weekly commitment, call the learning center or stop by to pick up a volunteer application.
