  9-11 Memorial Ceremony

The US Flag flying over City Hall was retired for use only on this Memorial Ceremony Day each year as Citizens of San Marcos come to honor those who died and those who selflessly risked their lives to search for the missing and those who sacrificed their lives to prevent further tragedy to our nation.  Flowers and mementoes are placed around the "9-11 Memorial" throughout the day.
