Built in 1975, the San Marcos City Hall building is located at 630
East Hopkins, just 2 minutes from downtown. It contains the City
Council Chambers, where the City Council and Planning and Zoning
commissions regularly meet, as well as several other boards and
commissions.
City Hall houses the City Administration department and City Manager,
the City Clerk and Mayor's offices, the Legal department, and the
Human Resources department. San Marcos Municipal Court is also located
on the grounds.
City Hall is open to the public, and frequently displays articles
and items of comtemporary and historical interest.
