    Dark Skies: Most of us are familiar with air, water, and land pollution, but did you know light can also be a pollutant. Research shows that artificial light at night has negative and possibly deadly effects on many species of wildlife… even human health. Join Cindy Luongo in learning more of protecting night skies for present and future generations. Cindy is a resident of Driftwood and recipient of a 2017 International Dark-Sky Association’s award for her initiating the Texas Night Sky Festival ( held in Dripping Springs. She will share with you the ‘facts and fixes’ of light pollution.
