   San Marcos City Ordinance Sec. 34-821 requires long-term residential rentals to register annually. The requirement becomes mandatory on January 1, 2021. We have tried to make it as easy for you to register your properties as possible. Please take the time to register each of your rentals. Multi-family rental properties only need one registration for their entire complex.
7. Please note: This form is for long-term rentals only. Short-Term Rental Registration is done through the city's Planning & Development Services Department: Short-Term Rental Registration.
