Police Seek Public’s Help to ID Aggravated Robbery Suspect

San Marcos Police are seeking help from the public identifying a man who robbed a Metro PCS store in February of this year.

On Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, a man robbed the Metro PCS store at 1515 Aquarena Springs Drive around 4:50 p.m. The suspect was disguised in a mask and dreadlock wig and brandished a black handgun during the robbery. He took an undisclosed amount of money.

Prior to the robbery, the suspect was seen at a business across the street from Metro PCS and photographed by surveillance cameras. Surveillance cameras also photographed the suspect’s car, a black four-door Hyundai Sonata with black custom wheels. The suspect is likely responsible for additional armed robberies across the region.
