[ARCHIVED] San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter Pets of the Week

NF Pets of the week

Lady Valentine (52020873)

Meet Lady Valentine, a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd mix that loves belly rubs! During her time in foster, Lady Valentine had great interactions with young children. According to her foster, she loves people and treats. She also enjoys activities like playing fetch, but she’s also down for the couch potato life. She is housebroken and knows a few basic commands. Lady Valentine is heartworm positive and would love a foster or adoptive home where she can complete her SMRAS-covered treatment.

Nesta (51730391)

Nesta can’t wait to meet you! Nesta is extremely energentic and loves to play. She has deemed herself a “lap dog” despite her medium size and enjoys giving affection and snuggles to everyone she meets. Nesta will need lots of mental and physcial stimulation and exercise in her new home. She loves to go on runs, play fetch, and explore the outdoors. She also enjoys working on food puzzles to get her tasty treats. Nesta is a 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who’s ready for a life of fun!

Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter. All ready-to-go pets are $22 and include spay/neuter, vet exam, vaccinations, and a microchip. To meet the pets, visit the San Marcos Regional Animal in person from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays, or online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/adopt to choose a pet and fill out an online adoption application. Then, give the shelter a call at 512.805.2650 or email animaladoptions@sanmarcostx.gov.
