[ARCHIVED] Downtown Bubble Fest SMTX Canceled Due to Weather

Bubble Fest 2022 - Canceled

Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions expected for this coming weekend, Bubble Fest 2022 is canceled.

The City of San Marcos Main Street Program will host Bubble Fest SMTX on Nov. 19, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hays County Courthouse, 111 E. San Antonio St. The event is a collaboration with Aquabrew, Mermaid Society of Texas, San Marcos River Foundation, Apogee Presents, AirOne Heating and Air, and San Marcos Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.

“We are so excited to host an event that is family centered and environmentally focused,” said Main Street Admin Freddy Medina. “Parents can bring their kids to learn about the importance of keeping our river clean while also enjoying endless bubble fun!”

This free, family-friendly event features a variety of bubble games, a bubble science lab, a live DJ, a performance by Katya the Bubble Genie, and a pop-up market featuring 20 local vendors.

The bubble science labs will begin at 10:30 a.m. and Katya the Bubble Genie will perform at noon. For a detailed schedule and list of activities, visit bit.ly/bubblefestsmtx.
