Free Legal Advice from Licensed Attorneys

Meet one-on-one with licensed attorneys to receive free legal advice on civil legal problems, such as family, housing, consumer, and caregiver authorization. Everyone will be asked to fill out an application requesting information about you, your financial information, and your legal issue. On-site registration begins at 6:00 p.m.; legal aid starts at 7:00 p.m. Must sign in before 7:00 p.m. to speak with an attorney. Spanish interpreters and a supervised waiting area for children are available.

English Language Learners Registration

Poetry Reading with Steve Wilson

Texas State MFA poetry faculty member, Steve Wilson, will read from his new collection of poetry, The Reaches. Copies of The Reaches and other books by Wilson will be available for purchase. Attendees will receive a limited-edition poetry broadside with every copy purchased. Refreshments provided.
