Engine 1: 52-628

2013 Spartan Class A Pumper. It carries 500 gallons of water and can pump 1,250 gallons per minute. The diesel engine boasts 500 horsepower to respond to emergency calls.

Some of its special equipment/features are: Foam Pro 1601; this allows water to penetrate deeper and makes water wetter; hydraulic extrication tools capable of cutting any new vehicle on the market today; built in storage system for rescue air bags that are capable of lifting a loaded 18-wheeler; elevated powerful LED light tower which turns darkness into day light; and a remote control fire nozzle Deck Gun able to reach distances of approximately 300 feet.

Heavy Rescue 52-641:

2016 Spartan Metro has light, air, and heavy rescue capabilities that is available for emergencies in surrounding counties.

Some of its special features are: LED light tower, swift water, trench, high/low angle, confined space rescue equipment, 3 rafts, 40KW 3 Phase generator, and the ability to refill the self-contained breathing cylinders on the scene of working fires.

2011 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4 responds when a command officer is required. Cab is loaded with an array of electronic and communication equipment to make this mobile command post a valuable tool in keeping firefighters and residents safe.

This boat is used in flood prone areas or when an incident dictates its use.

In 2022,the City of San Marcos purchased the block located at 111 E MLK for the (future) relocation of San Marcos Fire Station #1.
