TFCA and TFAP Workshops
The TFCA Second in Command Workshop was also held at A&M and was attended by both Operations Assistant Chief Jim Matano and Interim Fire Marshal Jonathan Henderson.
The 2nd Annual TFAP workshop hosted by the Texas Fire Chiefs Association was held over the last few days at the Texas A&M Conference Center in College Station, TX. This event provides a great opportunity for admin professionals across the state to come together and share ideas, network, and hear from some great speakers. SMFD Admin Coordinator Kim Cisneros was vital to the success of this event and saw all her hard work and planning come together for an amazing group of 125 professionals! The planning committee also included Stacey Roig (SMFD), Amy Ellis (Travis County ESD 1), and Kim Yates (Pearland FD) with some extra help from Lidia Contreras and Stacy Peters from the San Marcos Fire Marshal's Office.
