Public Draft + Follow-up Survey

Following the initial outreach stage of the project, staff and consultants, Winter and Company, developed draft recommended changes to our existing downtown architectural standards and guidelines to address issues identified by the community. The public draft was presented at a Virtual Community Workshop on December 9 and attendees learned about the recommended changes and provided initial input using polling questions.

To view the public draft, please click on the following links. The public draft includes changes to the Development Code (standards) and Design Manual (guidelines). The documents include applicable pages with changes and are in "redlined" form to clearly show what has changed. Blue underlined text indicates new added text or graphics, and red, strike-through text indicates what is proposed to be removed:
