Adoption Process


All adoptions and holds are on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be done in person at the shelter during normal business hours. Typical adoption or hold paperwork takes an average of 30 minutes to an hour, please plan your visit accordingly. Thank you!

Homeowners


Please provide proof of home ownership in the form of mortgage statement, tax appraisal, or homeowner's insurance statement.

Non-Homeowners


Please provide a letter of permission and proof of ownership from property owner/management company, on company letterhead, stating name of interested adopter, property address and any restrictions that may be in place.

All adoptions include the following:

Cats/Kittens


  • Dewormed for Roundworm, Hookworm and Whipworm
  • Feline Aids/Leukemia Test
  • Microchip (Includes Enrollment)
  • Physical Exam
  • Rabies Vaccine
  • Spay/Neuter

Dogs/Puppies


  • Dewormed for Roundworm, Hookworm and Whipworm
  • Heartworm Test
  • Microchip (Includes Enrollment) Physical Exam
  • Rabies Vaccine
  • Spay/Neuter
